Lisa Melroy MS, OTR/L

Hello! 

My name is Lisa Melroy. I am originally from Buffalo, NY where I graduated in 1994 from D’Youville College with my Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy. I have been a practicing therapist for 30 years and the past 6 years I have worked in the home care setting. Working with many individuals in their homes has given me a keen insight into a valuable service many would highly benefit from. In most circumstances, thoughts about this type of service are considered after a hospitalization. 

 

The most meaningful aspect of my work is knowing that my expertise has made a significant difference in the trajectory of a person’s living situation as they age.

  

The purpose of my business, Home Evaluations for Aging, is to assist individuals to optimize independence and safety in their own home and prioritize prevention of entering the often overwhelming healthcare system beyond regular doctor visits.
